Since 1979, Paulson & Lessard, CPAs, PC has been serving the needs of our clients in the Camas, Washougal and the greater Clark County area. Norm Paulson is a life-long resident of Washougal. He graduated from the University of Portland in 1986 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. In 1994 he earned a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Portland State University. In the past, Norm has worked as a staff CPA for regional and international accounting firms in Portland, Oregon. Norm joined the firm in 1991. His accounting practice focuses on providing tax, accounting and consulting services to closely held businesses and their owners, with an emphasis on minimizing the tax burden owed by the business and its owners.
Norm is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs, the Oregon Society of CPAs, the National Society of Accountants and the Oregon Association of Independent Accountants. Norm is a charter member and past president of the Rotary Club of Camas-Washougal and the Washougal Schools Foundation. He is also a past president of the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce. Norm is also serving a second term as a member of the National Alumni Board for the University of Portland representing the University alumni from SW Washington.
Lisa, Norm’s wife of 23 years, is a loan underwriter for a local bank. Their son Will is a junior at Washougal High School. The extended Paulson family includes seven foreign exchange students that have lived with them during their school years in America. When he can find the free time, Norm pursues hobbies include fishing, boating, camping and traveling with his family. He also enjoys playing baseball with his son.

Debbi earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from Oregon State University. She is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs and the Oregon Society of CPAs.
Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Debbi worked for the IRS as a revenue agent and at the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand with a practice emphasis on small business ventures. Debbi also has work experience with private enterprises, filling many roles in corporate finance and accounting departments. She initially joined the firm as a part-time tax preparer and then became a partner in the firm when Gary Douglass retired in 2004.
Debbi’s practice area now focuses on income tax planning and preparation, financial statement preparation and business consulting. In addition, Debbi is a Certified QuickBooks® Pro-Advisor. She assists many clients with maintaining accurate financial records on the QuickBooks® system.
Debbi is a busy mother of three. When she is not at the office or running the kids between schools, sports and friends, she enjoys scrapbooking get-aways with her friends, quad riding and reading a good book (the IRS code book is not included on that reading list)!

Eileen Morgan

Eileen performs a wide array of services, both administrative and client related, on behalf of the firm. She manages all of the client payroll services provided by the firm, including set-up, periodic live payroll preparation, monthly tax deposits and quarterly tax reporting. In addition Eileen is responsible for maintaining computerized general ledger and bookkeeping systems on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Eileen holds the record for having been with the firm for the longest period of time. If you have ever called or been in the office, you have likely spoken with or met Eileen.
Eileen is a true Camasonian. She was born and raised in Camas and has lived most of her life here. She is the mother of one daughter and grandmother of four. Her oldest granddaughter is currently serving our country in the U.S. Army at Fort Riley, KS. Her other three grandchildren are living with their parents in Montana.

Marianne joined the firm in 2008. She is a European born transplant to Canada and is now residing in Washougal, Washington, with her husband of 30 years. She enjoys exercising, reading and Sudoku.
She is a “seasoned” numbers and people person with several years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, tax return preparations and personnel placement. She offers the firm and its clientele courteous and professional service, dedication and integrity with a “Dutch” touch!

Toni joined the firm in 2005. She organizes the tax appointments; packages, e-files and delivers the clients’ tax returns; and she assists in the front office during tax season.
Toni is a retired teacher of secondary English. Her current passion is designing jewelry and traveling to art shows around the Northwest on weekends. She and her husband, Marty, have two sons. Steve is a physical therapist and is married to Melissa; Pat is pursuing a degree in nursing.
